Talk first. Book second.

Every listing comes
with the person behind it.

Before you put money down, you can message the host directly about the water, the weather, the land, the dog, the drive in. No booking-bot chatbot. No gatekeeper. Just the person who owns the ground, answering your questions.

  • No bookings get made blind.
Ask anything first: gear, parking, dogs, access, timing.
  • Hosts reply in ~1 hour on average.
Most answer same-day. Some answer while you're still typing.
  • Your thread stays yours.
Save past conversations. Rebook the same host without starting over.

Hey John, thinking about the Oct 18 float. Water looking ok after the rain?
Great shape actually. Flows came down, clarity's about 3ft. Fish are moving.
I've got a 2-angler drift open that weekend. Bring layers, it'll be 45 in the AM.
Perfect. Book it.

Frequently asked

Questions we hear a lot.

Do I need my own gear?
Most hosts rent rods, waders, and bait. Each trip lists what's included and what's add-on. You can also message the host beforehand.
When am I charged?
You're charged when the host accepts your booking. Booking is a request, not an automatic charge, so you can message and confirm details first.
Are the hosts vetted?
Every host verifies their identity and, where required, their guiding or captain credentials such as a USCG license. Reviews come from real completed trips. Read them and message the host before you book.
How much does HuntNHook take?
We take a small commission from each booking, split between host and guest. The guest portion is shown as a service fee at checkout, fully transparent before you confirm.
Can I bring kids?
Depends on the trip. Each listing shows the minimum age, and many hosts specifically love first-time young anglers.
What if the weather turns?
Hosts can reschedule weather-affected trips with no refund fight. If you can't reschedule, we refund you in full.
